		Video Art from the New China: Yang Fudong's Seven Intellectuals in a Bamboo Forest Saturday, January 29 | 7:00 p.m. See part III of contemporary artist Yang Fudong's five-part film project Seven Intellectuals in a Bamboo Forest, a reinterpretation of the classic Chinese legend of the Seven Sages—a group of Daoist intellectuals who fled sociopolitical chaos to live in a forest, untroubled by worldly matters. The evening begins with a rare screening of Backyard Hey! Sun is Rising, the precursor to Seven Intellectuals. Free; reservations required. Learn more and make reservations.
