IMOW is excited to announce that we’ve invited an amazing new group of women to contribute to our blog, Her Blueprint! Please join us in welcoming Marissa Arterberry, Caitlin Reyes Brune and Maria Guzman to the lineup of blog contributors!

Marissa Arterberry, a mixed media artist with a B.A. in painting, will be covering Arts & Culture for Her Blueprint, with a special focus on women artists from diverse backgrounds; Caitlin Reyes Brune has already written fabulous pieces about the women behind Martin Luther King, Jr., and the state of American political discourse; and Maria Guzman comes to us as part of a special collaboration between Her Blueprint and the incredible women’s human rights blog Gender Across Borders.

We are thrilled to represent the insight, creativity, and ideas of these women on Her Blueprint!

We are still looking for contributors, particularly from countries outside of the U.S. for full application details>>

Miss Representation at Sundance Film Festival

Check out these Stories in the Latest Project of Economica

The International Museum of Womenis proud to partner with Miss Representation, a new social-issue film that premiered this week in the documentary competition at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival!

Miss Representation explores how mainstream media contributes to the under-representation of women in positions of power and influence in America, and challenges media's limited and often disparaging portrayals of women.

If you’re near Park City Utah or plan on attending Sundance, join the Miss Representation team for a public screening at the Prospector Square Theater on Saturday, January 29 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. To view the trailer, visit www.missrepresentation.org!

Join Writer/Director and IMOW Honorary Board Member Jennifer Siebel Newsom and inspiring youth and influential thought leaders, including Condoleezza Rice, Cory Booker, Nancy Pelosi, Katie Couric, Lisa Ling, Rosario Dawson, Paul Haggis, Rachel Maddow, and Jane Fonda, in an unprecedented conversation on gender, media and power.
