Susan Herndon & The Cherry Pickers To Perform At Copper
BARTLESVILLE, OK – The First Friday Concert at Copper Bar on the 15th Floor of Price Tower Arts Center will feature Susan Herndon & The Cherry Pickers. Herndon will also be joined by Tom Skinner in the February 4th concert.
Skinner has been called the maestro of Red Dirt genre. The music combines Americana, folk, swing, rock and country for a sound that is uniquely Oklahoman. Copper is pleased to have Skinner join Herndon. The Cherry Pickers feature Stephen Lee on lead guitar and Michael Steed on snare.
“Susan is a favorite of our audience. Her sweet, smooth style delivers acoustic ballads, rock and a little Red Dirt jazz for all to enjoy,” noted Darbi Kinkaid, event coordinator for Price Tower Arts Center.
Herndon’s latest album, All Fall Down, was produced under the direction of Lloyd Maines, a Grammy Award-winning musician. The collection features country, pop, blues, rock, reggae, bluegrass and even a French song. Her first album, Quiet Cave, was released in 2000.
The concert begins at 8 p.m. and is free for everyone over 21 to attend. For more information about the concert call 918.336.4949 or visit pricetower.org.
