ART LEAGUE HOUSTON presents "Something from Something"
A FREE Art Workshop for Families, Sponsored by Target
Attention parents and children! Come make art with us! On Saturday, February 5, Art League Houston will
host "Something from Something," its latest ArtBound! event for families. This event, sponsored by Target,
is a FREE family art workshop for parents and children (ages 5 to 12).
While the workshops are free, reservations are required, and a parent or guardian is required to attend with
their children.
To reserve a time slot, please e-mail jill@artleaguehouston.org. Identify the time you want to attend, the
number in your party (limit of six per family please), and the ages of your children who will be coming with you.
AND...While Art League Houston will provide art supplies, you might want to bring a used stuffed animal
or old toy to incorporate in your art piece because this workshop is inspired by Art League Houston's
latest exhibit, WYSIWYG (What You See is What You Get), by artist Wendy DesChene. This family-
friendly exhibit is a blast of color and design with fun and interesting "creatures" fashioned from old toys and
stuffed animals.
