Artists are invited to register their entry to Australia's largest open-entry photo-based exhibition and competition by Friday 18 March 2011 - 2011 Kodak Salon. An open-entry exhibition and competition, the annual Kodak Salon presents an excellent opportunity for emerging and established photo-based artists to exhibit work in a professional, high profile context at Centre for Contemporary Photography's Fitzroy gallery.
The Kodak Salon is one of the largest and most renowned award exhibitions in the country including over 450 artists from across Australia. Celebrating the latest developments in photo-based practice, entries can include analogue and digital photography, DVD, film/video and 3D works. Artwork is welcome from both emerging and established photo-based artists as well as students, amateur and commercial photographers.
There are AUS$16,000 of prizes to be won from photographic industry leaders including Kodak Professional, Adobe, Manfrotto, Kata and Lexar.
