GALA OPENING RECEPTION
Public curatorial introductions and artist talks begin at 6:30pm at UCR/CMP. Maya Goded will discuss Las Olvidadas - The Forgotten Women; Connie Samaras will speak about After the American Century. At 7:30pm, Pulso y Martillo (Pulse and Hammer) will begin with a performance in the Culver Center Atrium that accompanies Margarita Cabrera's exhibition. It will be followed by a Q&A in the Atrium with Cabrera and Artistic Director and Curator Tyler Stallings.
The exhibitions Las Olvidadas and Pulso y Martillo have been generously supported by grants from UC Mexus. Additional support for Pulso y Martillo is provided by City of Riverside, Riverside Marriott, Walter Maciel Gallery, and Ronald W. Garrity.
