Become a Member Winter Workspace Glyndor Gallery's winter residency is alive with energy as the first three artists in the program begin to offer public programs. Ruth Marshall's knitted replicas of the pelts of endangered animals start with meticulous research, and a stitch-by-stitch roadmap. Claudia Weber has begun by photographing the architectural details of Glyndor House, then working with our gardeners to identify the natural inspiration for these Georgian Revival elements. Marion Wilson's delicate miniatures, drawn from Wave Hill's landscape, reference the tradition of preparing scientific specimens. She's also experimenting with mimicking bees' nests, using petals and other natural elements provided by our gardeners. Engage with these extraordinary artists at workshops, tours and an open house this month. In mid-February, the second session of the residency program opens with artists representing an entirely different set of creative practices.
