KENOSHA, WI – The 2011 African American Read-In will take place from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12 at the Kenosha Public Museum. Join us for readings of literary works including poetry, short stories, and children's books by African American authors. Adult and youth readers from our community lend their voices to the words of African American writers. 2011 marks the 22nd anniversary of the “National African American Read-In,” an event sponsored by the National Council of Teachers of English and it's Black Caucus.
