G Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of Quick Draw
featuring the work of J. Todd Allison and Morgan Sorne.
J. Todd Allison's current work stems from a series of conversations, readings and memories serving as visual allegories aimed at understanding his sense of cultural place and purpose. The works clearly express a concern for design through codified color arrangements that both appeal and challenge the significance of the visual artifacts. As one of original members, J. Todd Allison has had a Premiere Portfolio at absolutearts.com since 2000.

Morgan Sorne
If the world lost power, and in a post-apocalyptic existence, people came
together with instruments and melodies constructed from remnant artifacts and
folk traditions, that result would be SORNE. The music is a tapestry of
humanism, calling upon archetypal images, hand-made instruments, ethereal
voices, and driving rhythms to forge a new poetry and renewed sense of song.
Morgan Sorne is an award-winning performer, visual artist and
composer.
He was recently selected as one of sixty-three artists to be featured in the 2009 Texas Biennial.
His unique blending of visual installations, musical compositions, and vocal performances have garnered
critical acclaim from key members of the art and music communities.
