Sara
Post offers her tribute to the beauty, the fascination and even strangeness of
houses and gardens. She looks at
walls, windows, doors and rooftops; the spaces they create and the landscape
they define. Post works in a
variety of media and techniques including ceramics, painting, printmaking and
collage. She states, "I love
working across media and freely using the materials that best express the idea
of any particular piece of art work." At 7:30 pm, during her February 11 reception, Sara will
discuss her work.
The
reception for Close to Home coincides with the Davis Second Friday
