Sheldon Gala 2011 John Pizzarelli and the Swing Seven "Rockin' in Rhythm: A Tribute to Duke Ellington" Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. Pizzarelli's performance will feature music from his latest album, "Rockin' in Rhythm," a tribute to jazz pianist Duke Ellington, whom Pizzarelli calls "jazz's greatest star!" Songs such as "Don't Get Around Much Anymore," "I'm Beginning to See the Light," "Satin Doll" and "In My Solitide" are re-interpreted with Pizzarelli's trademark style and personality, but with great respect towards the original compositions. MFLA Teams up with Horns to Havana to Collect Instruments for Young Musicians in Cuba Music for Lifelong Achievement is pleased to announce a very special partnership with Horns to Havana, a non-profit organization based out of The Center For Cuban Studies in New York City. Throughout February and March, 2011, MFLA will team up with Horns to Havana to collect used musical instruments to be delivered to students in and around Havana, Cuba in the Fall of 2011.
