Concert Highlight

Last to Show, First to Go
with special guests Union Tree Review
and SYNA SO PRO
Friday, February 18 at 8 p.m.

The Sheldon Ballroom

With many references to their adopted hometown of St. Louis, Last to Show First to Go's folk rock songs draw connections between the passions of personal relationships and the unfortunate consequences of misguided American politics. Songwriter Bredon Jones' calmly-delivered vocals often belie an urgent message of anger and hope, while multi-instrumentalist Mikey Naucas' harmonies and crafty guitar work give both an energetic punch and subtle dynamics to their music.

Tickets are only $10!

Sheldon Gala 2011
John Pizzarelli and the Swing Seven
"Rockin' in Rhythm:
A Tribute to Duke Ellington"
Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 7:30 p.m.

Pizzarelli's performance will feature music from his latest album, "Rockin' in Rhythm," a tribute to jazz pianist Duke Ellington, whom Pizzarelli calls "jazz's greatest star!" Songs such as "Don't Get Around Much Anymore," "I'm Beginning to See the Light," "Satin Doll" and "In My Solitide" are re-interpreted with Pizzarelli's trademark style and personality, but with great respect towards the original compositions.

Patron tickets for this very special evening are on sale now! Gala tickets start at $500 and include pre-concert cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, post-concert supper and dancing, preferred concert seating, complimentary valet parking, and a tax deduction. Corporate tables also available! Call The Sheldon at 314.533.9900 to order tickets.

Single tickets go on sale Saturday, February 26 at 10 a.m. and are $40 orchestra / $35 balcony. Call MetroTix at 314.534.1111 or
