Adult Printmaking Courses
Dry Point (Please call for dates 061 311806)
This course is an
acid free way of printing. This method of printmaking is particularly suited to
those who enjoy transferring their drawings into print by exploring line.
However, texture can also be introduced and colour. It is a fantastic method to
incorporate with other print techniques too.

Lithography 5/6 March
This stone
lithography course is a good introduction to litho. Participants will focus on
drawing on the stone using a variety of greasy materials such as crayons and
tusche washes. They will then learn how to process the stone and will print
their first edition.

This silkscreen course will cover an introduction to photo stenciling
and colour printmaking. Participants will also learn about the care and use of
screens, materials and equipment and study a selection of work printed at the
studios.

Silkscreen T-shirt and fabric
printing (please call for dates: 061 311806)
This silkscreen course will cover printing
onto fabric, in particular t-shirts although other types of material will be
also included. Participants will use their own design and images and transfer
them onto screens before printing directly onto their fabric. Participants will
also learn about the care and use of screens, materials and equipment and view
a selection of work printed at the studios.
