Andrew Gifford
_The Parade in Winter
09.03.2011 - 26.03.2011
The three paintings which comprise The Parade in Winter series chart the competing light sources at three precise moments of dusk in January and February 2010. With street illuminations, neon signs and car lights at a busy junction, Gifford's paintings examine how we perceive light in the urban environment, making observations that go beyond the limits of photography.
The Parade in Winter series will be available to view in the gallery throughout March. For further information or images please contact the gallery, or visit our website to download an e-catalogue
