Portland's Billygoat becomes Good Night Billygoat!
David Klein and Nick Woolley never expected to play outside of LA when they began making stop-motion films and crafting soundtracks to accompany them. They took the name Billygoat knowing they weren't the only ones to perform under that name but, to them, who would ever hear about them outside of their circle of friends... well, four years, a move to Portland and a sold-out North American tour opening for Sweden's Little Dragon later, it's time for a change! With much respect to Dallas's Billygoat, the band has become Good Night Billygoat!
In addition, Good Night Billygoat are now joined an old school-friend of Woolley's, Corey Nelson, to replace old samples with live drums. The band returns to California next month for a few performances and to record choral arrangements for their upcoming release of the music and film for Dioscuri.

Press from their tour supporting Little Dragon:
"A level of innovation and skill so unparalleled, that when I tell you Portland's [Good Night] Billygoat immediately calls Philip Glass to mind, please let that speak the volumes it's intended." RCRD LBL
"If you haven't heard them, rectify that immediately. They play prog-ish instrumentals that occupy a space somewhere in between Air and Sigur Rós, the kind of music you don't so much listen to as simply feel." LA Weekly
"As overused as the word epic is these days, it’s one that easily applies to the masterpiece [Good Night] Billygoat created onstage." Melophobe
"[Good Night] Billygoat proved to be the most exceptional of the night, however." Gaper's Block
"Live music and an artistic masterpiece: that is what [Good Night] Billygoat has to offer its audiences." Aquarian Weekly
"[Good Night] Billygoat can transport you far from the madding crowd — via both audio and visuals." Buzz Bands LA
