My name is Marta Fontolan and I have recently started working at HOTEL Gallery.

HOTEL gallery is pleased to announce Alistair Frost's first solo exhibition at the gallery. The show Schhh...Hieroglyphics will be opening on Saturday 12th March and will be on view until 23rd of April, 2011. This exhibition will be accompanied by a book published by the Rijksakademie and an installation opening at the end of the preview and on view for one night. It will present a series of "Clip Art' paintings, aiming to explore contemporary tools of digital reproduction, the signifiers and apparatus of artistic production. 

Frost (b. in 1982) is a painter and sculptor who has exhibited at the Kunstverein Freiburg in Germany and at Gavin Browns Enterprise among others. I have attached a press release for the exhibition, as well as a portfolio of the artist including installation views, images of individual works, biography and press clips so that you can have an insight on his practice.
