Registration Now Underway for Summer ARTcamps at Dublin Arts Council 

DUBLIN, Ohio— (March 8, 2011) Nurture your creative spirit during ARTcamps at Dublin Arts Council (DAC) this summer.  Registration is now underway for one-week sessions which run from June 20 through Aug. 12. Camps range from photography to acting to pottery-making; encompassing a range of skills and ages from 6 to 18 years.

“RU Ready to Rock?” is a new offering this summer, modeled after the 2003 musical comedy film School of Rock starring Jack Black. Middle and high school aged students will receive individualized and small group instruction from rock musician educators. Participants will learn about forming a band, getting gigs and more. The camp runs from July 18 through 22 and concludes with an outdoor performance on the DAC grounds on Friday. Guitarists, bassists, drummers and vocalists are welcome.

Registrations are being taken in person or by mail, phone or fax, and camp registration deadlines are generally one week prior to the first day of each session.
