Jo Babcock -- The Invented Camera
Artist reception and book signing, Thursday, March 10, 7-9 pm
Exhibition: March 10 - April 23
If you were a box of Tide detergent, you'd spend your days watching washing machine spin cycles.
As a mailbox you'd examine your letter carrier's deliveries. Gas pumps get surveyed if you're a thirsty gasoline can.
Join us for an unforgettable exhibition from Bay area artist, sculptor and photographer Jo Babcock. View the collection of unique cameras he made from found containers, see the prints they created (examples above), and with a little imagination you'll discover the observations of their individual worlds.
