Chicago's SHAPERS exploded onto the scene last year with their debut album, Little, Big, and the single "Virginia Reel" hot on its heels. Their sonic explorations experiment with atmospheric waves, ambient soundscapes, squalling jazz blasts and pulsing Kraut-rock and won them a slot on one of the most eccentric tours of the year! The band heads out on tour with Tobacco & Beans next month for a trip through the midwest out to the Pacific Northwest for the first time... live, SHAPERS pummel audiences with their throbbing performances, entrancing them with visuals manipulated live and a complete lack of banter that leaves very little time to determine when one song ends and the next begins. At a mind numbing volume, the songs hypnotize and traverse listeners through their heavy soundscapes.
