Kaleidoscopic
Student art exhibition features works by art majors graduating from Pepperdine's Seaver College in April.

April 14 to 30, 2011

The Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art at Pepperdine University will present a senior student art exhibition titled Kaleidoscopic from April 14 to 30, 2011.

There will be an opening reception to meet the artists on Thursday, April 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. The reception is free of charge and open to the public.

Kaleidoscopic will feature works by eight artists who are graduating from Pepperdine's Seaver College in April with B.A. degrees in art:

Sunni Downing
Susie Lee
Hunter Montgomery
Miles Prowse
Amanda Sanchez
Ashly Welch
Zineb Zebdi

The senior exhibition allows graduates from the studio art program to present works highlighting their achievements. In Kaleidoscopic, the works explore the range of their creative imaginations in various media ranging from graphic design and painting to sculpture. The title refers to the diversity of their imagery and points of view.

The exhibition was organized by Avery Falkner, Pepperdine Seaver College art professor and faculty advisor, in cooperation with Michael Zakian, director of the Frederick R. Weisman Museum of Art.

The museum, located on the Pepperdine campus at 24255 Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, CA, is open Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and is closed on Mondays and major holidays. There is no admission charge.
