Hori's solo exhibition titled Mat/Ramlee
was officially opened on Thursday March 3rd 2011 by Ms Audrey Wong,
Nominated Member of Parliament and Programme Leader, MA Arts & Cultural

as censorship and the position of the artist in social development. Timothy
P Barnard, Associate Professor, Department of History, National University
of Singapore completed a short essay for the catalogue connecting the

Om
Mee Ai
Singapore
Art Museum (SAM) recently acquired Om Mee Ai's Triptych-W
(pictured top of page), an example of her growing body of acclaimed works
in geometric abstraction. The delicate layering of over 50 applications of
white oil paint over base coats of black, blue, and green pushed the
boundaries of Om's practice. An ambitious work worthy of the esteemed SAM
permanent collection.
