WI – The Civil War Media Club, lead by Curator Doug Dammann, will
discuss the book Causes Won, Lost, and Forgotten: How Hollywood
and Popular Art Shape What We Know About the Civil War by Gary
Gallagher from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Mar. 23 at the Civil War
Museum. With the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War upon us, this
book is particularly timely as it discusses how popular culture molds
how we remember the war. Cost is $10 or $5 for Friends of the
Museums. Advance registration is required.
