Muskegon Museum of Art 83rd Regional Exhibition
Call for Entries
Registration days: May 5, 6, 7

The Muskegon Museum of Art invites all artists 18 years and older who
reside in the 231, 517, 616, and 269 area codes to submit up to two
artworks for juror selection into the MMA’s 83rd Regional Exhibition.

Registration starts Thursday, May 5 and continues through Saturday,
May 7. Artwork must be physically brought to the MMA during
registration days or shipped to arrive by May 4. Digital entries are
not accepted. Entry forms and complete registration information can be
picked up at the MMA or downloaded from www. muskegonartmuseum.org
(link on home page).

Registration schedule:
Thursday, May 5, noon to 8:00 p.m.
Friday, May 6, 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 pm
Saturday, May 7, 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 pm

The Muskegon Museum of Art Regional Exhibition is the
longest-established regional art exhibition in the state and holds a
respected position within Michigan’s art tradition. This year’s
“Regional” will run from May 26 through August 3, 2011. Guest juror
Susan R. Visser, Executive Director of the South Bend Museum of Art,
will select artwork and top prize winners for Regional. Over $4,000 in
cash and purchase prizes will be awarded, including $1,000 Best of
Show.

The 83rd Regional Exhibition’s presenting sponsor is DTE Energy
Foundation. Co-sponsored by Shape Corp. Media sponsors: The Muskegon
Chronicle and Blue Lake Public Radio. Additional support is provided
by the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs.
