With the Huffington Post's selection of David Rathman's works for the Top 10 Painting Shows in the U.S., the exhibition had a fruitful beginning. Hilliard produced multi-paneled panoramic photographs that magnify quiet, often nostalgic, and somehow very American scenes, while Rathman creates meticulous yet muddled watercolors of pop-culture remnants.
