Dear Editors, Writers, Art Lovers,

This March and April at the Karin Weber Gallery we celebrate the
mastery and art of the photograph, bringing in the work of
award-winning Hungarian photographer Adam Magyar.

Perhaps it's the sense of reality, of being taken to another time or
place, the joy of discovering something new, or simply just a response
to the sheer beauty of an image. Whatever it is, no other medium is so
universally compelling.

Our compilation of Adam's work has that same pull. Take a look at the
image Stainless03621 at the end of this email. It's a picture of
people people riding a subway train. But there's more to it than that. 

Of his work Adam says this: "It is an ever-present human desire to go
further and leave some trace behind in the fraction of the time we are
given. My drive is not different. I aim to grasp the devices at hand,
push towards new frontiers by converting already existing technologies
for photography in the hope of coming up with something new, a new
device, a new language, a new frontier."

As Karin says: "He captures this very human yearning in his
photographs. Freezing time, heightening what he calls the drama of our
own transience. That relentless search for significance."

Adam's show opens, 7pm, Tuesday, 22nd March and runs until 18th April,
