The One Minute
Workshop is a 5 day intensive, dynamic working process offering 10 artists and
emerging film makers an introduction to video
art.
The
workshop:
- During the 5 day workshop participants
will learn to make a one minute video from start to finish under the guidance of
a workshop leader.
- All videos will
be presented to the public in an evening of presentations. 10 of the best videos
will also be selected and entered into the One Minute Africa Awards
2011.
Applicants
need to commit to working all day,
everyday.
The workshop
will:
- Provide a daily stipend to cover food and
local travel costs.
- Will provide
shared accommodation for up to 5 participants if needed.
- End with an exhibition/presentation including a
catalogue.
The open day
exhibition will be held at Greatmore on the 29th of April
2011
