8 PM: In Conversation with Anne Dymond and Katherine Govier
Spend an evening with Katherine Govier, author of the recently published novel The Ghost Brush.The Ghost Brush chronicles the life of Oei, daughter of the great Japanese painter and printmaker Hokusai, creator of The Great Wave and 36 Views of Mount Fuji. An artist in her own right and thought by some to be the producer of many of works attributed to Hokusai, Oei’s story has been lost to history. Govier will present the factual background to the story and read from the novel.
Admission is $5
Signed copies of the book will be available to purchase for $20.
