Meyer to give senior recital

Peoria, IL (March 24, 2011) Stephanie Meyer, a vocal performance major at Bradley University, will present her senior recital on Sunday, April 3, at 3 p.m. in Dingeldine Music Center, located at 1417 W. Barker Avenue. The performance is free and open to the public.  

The program will be accompanied by Molly Sloter, piano, and will feature works by J.S. Bach, W.A. Mozart, Cécile Chaminade, Alfred Bachelet, Jacques Offenbach, Edith Piaf, and American composers Aaron Copland, John Duke and Richard Hundley.

She is the daughter of Bob and Carol Meyer of Sparland, Illinois. A student of Dr. Kerry Walters of the Bradley music faculty, Stephanie is very active on campus where she is a member of the Bradley Chorale and Chamber Singers.  She is the 2010-11 recipient of the prestigious Presser Scholar award.
