Gilles Larrain's famed studio at 95 Grand Street continues to be an artistic haven filled with fine wines and delectable homemade foods ... a rarified space where guests mingle, laugh, share, paint, draw and sketch (our models continue to sparkle and shine).

James Vogel

Art director, artist and Golden Globe winner, James Vogel's accomplishments are what "dreams are made of". From his work on Sesame Street, to "Revolver, The Movie" to the Lion King, to the infamous Spiderman his talents have touched the world of television, film, theatre, Broadway, and now Art Salon!

As a fine artist he continues to refine his capabilities in drawing, painting and sculpture. A man of "creation mentality" his interests in art go far beyond his own experience.

We are honored and privileged to host his exhibition at Art Salon.

Violette

Tinged with the diverse influences of R&B, jazz, soul and gospel, internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Violette shares her passion for Afro-American music and culture.

A graduate of Boston's highly acclaimed Berklee School of Music her hauntingly beautiful voice enables the listener to immerse his/her self into the heart of a genuine emotional experience.

Violette and her band will perform a selection of arrangements and originals in both French and English. Vive la France! And hip, hip hooray!

Sophia Urista

Destined to take over the world, Sophia will first spread her magic at Art Salon!

From her raw, passionate performances of classics including The Beatles "Come Together" to her original songs she has turned the NYC music scene upside down. Grabbing the attention of fans and legends alike (Ashford and Simpson, and Quincy Jones are amongst her advocates and admirers) we're certain that after this month's Art Salon she will have a few more.
