Side Arts is an opportunity listing and event management service for the visual arts and crafts communities.

Side Arts is where emerging and established visual artists and art related businesses post and find information about local opportunities including calls for artists, gallery openings, and art workshops and classes. All local visual artists, designers, and crafters, as well as galleries, non-profit arts organizations, service providers, and event promoters are encouraged to join.

This totally affordable, membership-based, self-serve online service was originally founded in 2006 as a small arts collective.  Since then it has grown to be one of the region's largest online arts communities featuring over 450 visual artists and 60 local businesses.

Side Arts offers a one-stop for emerging visual artists with opportunity listings, original content and stories from established contemporary artists, gallery openings, calls for artists, profile and image hosting, and more.

Local arts businesses can post articles to publicize gallery openings, fairs and festivals, benefits,  calls for artists, classes and workshops, jobs, and other related opportunities.  They can receive and manage event RSVPs and application alerts for their artist opportunities listings.
