2011 BOARD AND NATIONAL COUNCIL TRIP TO CHICAGO
We are excited to give our top supporters an insider's perspective on Chicago and its rich and vibrant culture April 29–May 1, 2011. Chicago has been an Artadia program city for a decade and is home to a number of longtime Artadia Board members.
The weekend trip, which coincides with Art Chicago, will include private collection tours of prominent collectors Larry and Marilyn Fields, Curt and Jennifer Conklin, and Jack and Sandra Guthman; a studio visit with Artadia Awardees Nick Cave, Julia Fish, William J. O'Brien, and Richard Rezac; and curator-led tours of the new Modern Wing of the Art Institute of Chicago and the MCA Chicago.
To compliment the great art offered, participants will also be treated to exceptional culinary experiences, including a dinner at one of Chicago's most prominent restaurants.

ARTADIA HOSTS VIP STUDIO VISIT WITH PHYLLIS BRAMSON AND PUBLIC PANEL "THINK GLOBAL, COLLECT LOCAL" IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ART CHICAGO
In collaboration with Art Chicago's VIP program, Artadia is hosting a studio visit with Artadia Awardee and Chicago-native Phyllis Bramson. Her self-described "fairy-tale-like" works are metaphorical ruminations about desire and culture.
As part of the Art Chicago | NEXT Talk Shop, art fair visitors are invited to learn from a distinguished panel of art collectors why "buying local" doesn't only apply to one's fruits and veggies. With Artadia Board members Larry Fields (Chicago) and Louis Corrigan (Atlanta). Moderated by Stephanie Smith, Chief Curator at the Smart Museum of Art, Chicago.
