A captivating look at the life and words of Emily Dickinson, William Luce's wonderful one woman show offers us a window into the mind of one of America's most intriguing poets. Luce's script makes use of a great deal of Emily Dickinson's poetry, using her words as a portal into this fascinating woman's world. Janis Stevens directs a production that promises to capture the ethereal nature of Luce's celebrated text and of Emily Dickinson herself.

Sacramento Theatre Company has a knack for bringing you the classics without sacrificing creativity or variety. In April, we bring you an ethereal journey into the mind of an intriguing and mysterious poet, a night of musical theatre featuring songs by the clever contemporary composer Stephen Schwartz, and an adventure in 19th century London with one of the most classic characters of all time, the detective Sherlock Holmes. It isn't an easy feat and it isn't one we could do without the support of our sponsors. Please consider making a tax-deductable donation to join the many individuals who make our productions possible.
