EXHIBITION Tim Ellis: The Tourist 12 March–30 April Spacex is proud to present the first UK solo exhibition by London based artist Tim Ellis. The Tourist will include a series of new paintings and sculptures. PUBLIC EVENTS Talk by Tim Ellis Saturday 12 March, 4–5pm, free Tim Ellis will talk about his practice and the work produced for his solo show at Spacex, followed by an informal Q&A. Review Group Thursday 31 March, 6–7.30pm, free, booking essential A chance to exchange responses to the exhibition over a drink. Prior to the event, participants will have access to a selected text for advance reading, early booking advised. FAMILIES Model Histories Artist David Chatton-Barker has created a resource exploring themes of adaptation and display. Visitors are invited to re-work objects, furnish and decorate our model house. Open to all during gallery opening hours. CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE Art Club Saturdays 19, 26 March, 10am–12pm, ages 8–11, £5/£3 New members are welcome to join us for a variety of activities inspired by the exhibition. This term we will be exploring printmaking and sculpture. Outer Space Wednesdays 16, 23, 30 March, 5.30–7.30pm, ages 12–16, £5/£3, includes materials Spacex’s after school session is an opportunity for young people to experiment with a wide range of art techniques in response to the exhibition.
