Blank City, A film by Celine Danhier
IFC Center, 323 6th Ave, New York, NY 10014

BLANK CITY tells the long-overdue tale of the motley crew of renegade filmmakers that emerged from an economically bankrupt and dangerous period of New York history. It’s a fascinating look at the way this misfit cinema used deserted, seemingly bombed-out Lower East Side landscapes to craft daring works that would go on to profoundly influence independent film today.
Beginning April 7, save $3 on tickets to Blank City, Mon – Thurs (normally $13) upon showing your Museum of Art & Design membership card at the IFC Center Box Office. Visit ifccenter.com to learn more.
