A style event showcasing exotically artful hair sculptures designed and executed by premier Delaware salons. This event showcases whimsical and artful hair designs during a gallery-way show and competition and will also feature music, hors d'oeuvres, champagne cocktails, beauty demonstrations and a spa and pampering-inspired silent auction. The hair sculptures, displayed on live models, will take center stage in a competition in the Museum's galleries. Click here to purchase tickets.

Art a la Carte: Abstract Landscape Painting in Acrylic with Xan Salas

Learn how to paint an abstract landscape using acrylic. Participants will learn techniques that focus on color and form. All supplies provided. Bring your own basket dinner, wine is welcome! Click here to pre-register.

Celebrate your next birthday at the Biggs!

Did you know Museum members can host children's birthday parties at the Museum? Biggs Birthday parties include two fun-filled hours of celebration, cake, hands-on activities and an exciting tour! The Museum will provide a dedicated brithday party facilitator, private part room with tables and chairs, a hands-on art activity with supplies, a special guided Museum tour for children, free parking, restrooms and entry to the Museum. Members can reserve a birthday party on Saturdays of Sundays for $150 for up to 15 children and 3 adult chaperones. Each additional child is $10.00 per person, with a maximum children attendee number of 25. For more info about our birthday parties, contact Beccy Cooper.

Golf season is here!

April's here which means it's time to pull the golf clubs out of the garage for a new season out on the greens! Make the Biggs Museum Golf Tournament your first tournament of the year. The golf tournament, presented by Koppenhaver, Hawkins & Associates, will be held at Maple Dale Country Club on Thursday, May 12 beginning at 8:30 a.m. Enjoy a pig roast lunch, silent auction, awards ceremony and prizes after play time.
