Three-part Spring Concert Series, AUDIOPHILE, to be Presented at
Brooklyn Museum Produced in Partnership with The L Magazine

Audip2 A series of three Friday evening concerts celebrating the most prolific and innovative talent from Brooklyn's thriving music scene will be presented in the glass pavilion at the Brooklyn Museum. The concerts, which are slated to take place at 7 p.m. on April 15, May 13, and June 10, and will include two bands each evening, are being presented in partnership with The L Magazine. Tickets to the standing-room-only concerts are free with Museum admission. A cash bar will be available. Additional information is available at www.brooklynmuseum.org.

Schedule of Bands:

April 15, 7 p.m.
· MNDR (pronounced "mandar"). Amanda Warner and Peter Wade's electro pop duo has been performing since 2009, with an infectious energy that makes people want to dance.
· New Villager. Ben Bromley and Ross Simonini use many mediums including music, animations, and performances, to explore transformation and new ideas.

May 13, 7 p.m.
· MEN. Through the energy of live performance and radical dance music, this Brooklyn-based band and art/performance collective explores such issues as wartime economies and sexual compromise.
· Savoir Adore. Paul Hammer and Deirdre Muro weave a magical musical tapestry with their distinctive voices, lush harmonies, and wild sonic palette.

June 10, 7 p.m.
· Theophilus London. Fader magazine puts this rapper, songwriter, and producer at the center of Brooklyn's new urban pop movement. According to music weekly NME, "his patter is sumptuous, his look untouchable, his soundscapes plucked from the mythical ghetto neverland--he's the real deal."
· To Be Announced.
