Unlike the stereotypes that portray a society languishing in its past, the sessions concerned with Morocco aim to emphasise the overlapping of a wide range of realities and dynamics: from the movements of democratic opposition during the reign of Hassan II through to the processes of transformation that are presently occurring in all social milieus and taking in clearly differing cultures and traditions.
