New Spring Menu at Halcyon   

Celebrate spring on the patio at Halcyon, Flavors from the Earth, the best perch on
South Tryon Street. Located at the Mint Museum Uptown, the restaurant's new spring
menu includes lamb pressed with fresh mint and olive oil topped with a raisin and caper
vinaigrette, creamed rabbit with truffled polenta cakes and asparagus, and pork belly with orange bitters and maple simple syrup. Sip on a house infusion of Makers 46 or try one of the new craft cocktails. For reservations, call 704.910.0865.

tearing, and layering hand-made papers to create lovely collaged notecards, and visit
the galleries to see how artists have depicted seasons throughout the ages.

Spring Family Fun and Education Day

The Arts & Science Council and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools' Parent University are
partnering to hold a day of fun and information for the whole family in Going from STEM
to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, ARTS, and Math). Families will gain free
and discounted access to museums and cultural venues along uptown Charlotte's
"Cultural Mile," and enjoy mini-workshops, student performances, and hands-on arts
experiences. The Mint Museum Uptown will offer free admission to families participating in this special event. Avoid long lines by pre-registering via the CMS Parent University website.
