Great Get-Away Close To Home

BARTELSVILLE, OK – Frank Lloyd Wright referred to the Price Tower as the tree that escaped the crowded forest.  Today, the Price Tower invites you to immerse yourself in the experience of Frank Lloyd Wright’s only realized skyscraper as you escape with a get-away to the Inn at Price Tower.

The Inn at Price Tower is Bartlesville’s only non profit-based hotel offering first class luxury and design.  Those who stay at the Inn are not only getting an outstanding hotel room, they are also supporting the preservation of a National Historic Landmark, which includes the Price Tower Arts Center.

“A stay at the Inn at Price Tower ensures that revenue stays in our community to support programs that benefit our children and families.  Each stay at the Inn at Price Tower includes admission to Price Tower Arts Center’s galleries where we host three exhibitions annually, our Historic Tower Tour of the restored corporate offices of the H.C. Price Company and a complimentary breakfast,” said Tim Boruff, executive director of Price Tower Arts Center.

The Inn at Price Tower offers a number of packages to meet any guest’s desire.  The Romance Package includes an overnight stay, the Historic Tower Tour, exhibition admission, champagne and chocolates.  The Landmark Destination Get-Away includes two nights at the Inn, the Historic Tower Tour, exhibition admission, two passes for Woolaroc and two passes to the Frank Phillips Home.  Both include complimentary breakfast.

“Guests of the Inn will find their rooms exquisitely appointed.  We offer custom, pillow-top mattresses, high thread count linens, heated bathroom floors and flat screen televisions,” added Boruff.  “We have also recently added the option of in-room massage therapy from New Horizons Therapeutic Massage.”

The in-room massage is included in a special Mother’s Day Get-Away Package.  Reservations are now being accepted for the overnight stay and massage on Friday, May 6; Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8.  A special champagne brunch will also be offered between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday in Copper Bar.

“Our kitchen has worked to develop a spectacular brunch menu.  It includes salmon, Chicken Madison, Copper’s Champagne Salad and many other items that our guests will not find elsewhere,” said Debra Woodall, marketing manager for Price Tower Arts Center.

Copper is located on the 15th Floor of the Price Tower.  In addition to offering great dining and service, guests have the opportunity to take in some stunning sunsets over the Osage Hills.  Copper is open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursday.  On Friday and Saturdays, Copper stays open until midnight.  Live music is also offered every Wednesday evening with Josh and Kyle and on the first Friday of every month.

The Inn at Price Tower is the only Frank Lloyd Wright designed public structure to host overnight guests.  For more information about the Inn, Copper Bar or Price Tower Arts Center, visit www.pricetower.org or call 918.336.1000.
