Workshop: Camera-less Filmmaking Thu, Apr 14, 6-9pm Artist Vertna Bradley leads a workshop exploring the use of 16mm film as a medium, with techniques including bleaching, painting, photocopying, iron transfer, and found footage. Curator Talk: Stuart Horodner Sat, Apr 16, 11am-12pm Artistic Director Stuart Horodner leads a tour and discussion of the current exhibitions. He will focus on the artists' use of materials, and issues of tradition and process. Plus, Westside Arts District 3rd Saturday Art Walk: after the talk, take a walk on the Westside!

Contemporary Talks: William Pope.L Tue, Apr 26, 7-8:30pm, Free Location: Hill Auditorium, High Museum Artist William Pope.L discusses his interdisciplinary works with Artistic Director Stuart Horodner and previews footage from his new film, Reenactor, about Robert E. Lee and the "psycho-geography of the South." Pope.L is one of the most talked about performance artists of his generation, putting his body through grueling acts of endurance in various contexts.
