It will be possible to visit the exhibition every day but on Thursday from 4
to 6 pm until the 22/4/2011.
Intimate emotions in abstract

Very effectively declared in the title of the exhibition and made more
explicit in the subtitle is that the parameter are the emotions. On the other
hand, there is no doubt about the willingness of abstract art to touch the
innermost chords of our aesthetic sensibility, especially in terms of strong
identification between subject and object. 
In his memorable essay "Abstraction and Empathy," Wilhelm Worringer wrote
extraordinary words analyzing this special aesthetic experience that has deep
roots in the Einfuhlung, ie to transfer ourselves in the beauty of organic
forms and, on the other hand, projecting in the inorganic , in the not
naturalistic  and thus in the primitive and passionate impulse towards
abstraction. 
Reflections tha we should read again, trace, together with those by Kandinsky,
as contained in his "Concerning the Spiritual in Art", and the most recent by
Clement Greenberg, demonstrating the intense expressive and communicative
qualities of abstract art which, rightly, may legitimately be the universal
language dreamed by the poet.
