The Swiss-born artist Olympia Scarry comes from a long line of artists, including her grandfather Richard Scarry, the famed children’s book author and illustrator. Her artwork often incorporates industrial materials and she told Interview Magazine is “about peeling back her own layers as well as working out what she considers her biggest mental leap: falling in love”. Olympia has shown at the Venice Biennale, Conduits Gallery in Milan and London's 20 Hoxton Square Projects. Most recently, she was a standout in Ford Projects "Involuntary" show, which is up through April 15th in New York.
