Mozart Teaches Beethoven?
Mozart and Beethoven...how much did their lives really intersect? Beethoven traveled to Vienna twice to meet Mozart, but did any teaching really occur? Hear interesting facts, and popular rumors about both men, who gave us so much beautiful music, changing the musical world forever. Pianist David Dubiel, violinist LeeAnne Chenoweth, and cellist Jim Higgins will perform the Opus 11 piano trio of Beethoven, and Mozart's 5th piano trio. The musicians will accompany baritone David Robinson on arias by Mozart, and songs by Beethoven, which you may find surprisingly romantic. Following the concert, enjoy our dessert, fruit, and cheese party!
