To use the full title of Tangram's hit show, The Origin of Speices by Means of Natural Selection or, ... The Survivial of (R)evolutionary Theories in the Face of Scientific and Ecclesiastical Objections: Being a Musical Comedy About Charles Darwin (1809-1882), this is a show for young and old alike. It tells the story of how Charles Darwin came to discover the secrets of evolution and why it took him over twenty years before he plucked up the courage to publish his remarkable idea. It's a show packed with big ideas, terrible puns, brilliant physical comedy and six cracking original songs about everything, from blasted boring barnacles to the perils of marrying your own cousin.
The Origin of Species...was created to celebrate the bicentary of Darwin's birth and the 150 year anniversary since his (R)evolutionary book was published.

Tangram Theatre Company is an award-winning theatre company formed in 2006 by ex-Lecoq graduates. Tangram has already produced nine critically acclaimed shows.
Origin of Species will also be touring to New Deer Public Hall (26th), Edinvillie Hall, nr Aberlour (27th), and Deskford Hall, nr Cullen (30th)
