From October 13 to 23, 2011 the Philadelphia region will host the 7th annual DesignPhiladelphia (DP) in coordination with National Design Week. DP is the largest design celebration of its kind nationwide, showcasing the city's rich history and present practices with more than 150 events including lectures, exhibitions, street happenings, workshops, open studios and public forums. DP reaches over 200,000 tech-savvy professionals, uniquely invested citizens from the A&D community, and college students looking to be part of innovative design conversations. These events unite the creative community from graphic to fashion designers, urban planners to architects, interior designs to multimedia developers.
