Drawing for Japan
 COLLABORATIVE DRAWING EVENT SATURDAY, APRIL 16, 11am - 8pm @ CANADA 55 CHRYSTIE STREET (BTWN HESTER & CANAL) The drawing will be on a 3' wide and 60' long roll of coated Tyvek, hung on the walls of the gallery. Participants are free to add as much or as little as they choose to this collaborative drawing effort. Please remember to add your name to sign-in the book in the gallery if you wish to be added to the list of contributing artists. To be followed by.... One Shot Video Experiment The New Art Dealer's Alliance (NADA) and The Big Screen Project present a Video Experiment, "One Shot" at the New Museum's Festival of Ideas. DEADLINE EXTENDED May 7, 2011, 11am-7pm Bowery between Houston and Spring Street
Attention Performers (artists, musicians, dancers, comedians). This is an open call for submissions to anyone who would like to create a video in our booth during the festival. The HD video camera and camera person will be provided, however participants are responsible for any props, costumes, lights, music, etc.

Six of the proposed submissions will be selected to shoot during the festival on May 7. One hour will be allotted for each participant, which includes set up, shooting and tear down. Each will have the opportunity to shoot as many takes as you need within the hour; the best take will be selected (uncut). The final length of the video should not exceed 5 minutes.
Members of Ok Go! will select one winner out of the six participants. They've set the curve with the music video for White Knuckles http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nHlJODYBLKs The winning video will be featured NADA's website and premiered at the Big Screen Project, a 30 x 16.5 ft HD format out- door LED screen on 6th avenue between 29th and 30th street in NYC in a 10,000 sq. ft. public plaza.
Deadline for submissions is April 25, 2011.
