Art a la Carte: Print Making with John Murray

Learn the Fine Art technique of Linocut Printmaking. Each participant will draw a design on a linoleum surface, chisel out the design, learn to prepare and apply ink and press the inked image to paper thus producing an original work of art. This class will be inspiring, challenging and fun. Workshop participants are encouraged to bring a basket dinner and beverage. Wine is welcome! Click here to pre-register.

The Biggs Museum will host a juried members exhibition of the Delaware Watercolor Society (DWS). As many as 50 watercolors will be featured within the Museum's galleries, the majority of which will be for sale. The DWS aims to promote and encourage mutually shared interests in watercolor media among its members and the public. The Society works toward fostering high-quality, professional art and creative contributions to the Delaware community through education events, exhibits, cultural, and other activities. Please join us in welcoming the DWS to the Biggs!

Golf season is here!

Make the Biggs Museum Golf Tournament your first tournament of the year. The golf tournament, presented by Koppenhaver, Hawkins & Associates, will be held at Maple Dale Country Club on Thursday, May 12 beginning at 8:30 a.m. Enjoy a pig roast lunch, silent auction, awards ceremony and prizes after play time.
