JEWELRY WORKSHOP WITH SANDRA ZILKER
Jewelry designer Sandra Zilker will teach participants to carve organic shapes into cuttlefish bones using carving tools, melt pewter using small torches, and pour the molten pewter into the cuttlebone cavities. Participants will leave with a completed pendant or charm.
Fee: $50, includes refreshments, materials, use of tools, and Rice parking;
$45 for Rice Gallery members; $25 for students; Enrollment limited to 15;
Participants must be at least 18 years of age

Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit will be given to teachers who participate. Registration is not available online and must be received at least 7 days in advance of the event.
