KENOSHA, WI – Professor Mark Pohlad
discusses Abraham Lincoln in American Art from during a program from
7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 3 at the Civil War Museum.
Pohlad, DePaul University’s professor
of art history, leads an illustrated lecture and discussion on the
image of Abraham Lincoln in American art. By examining famous and
not-so-famous paintings, sculptures and prints, attendees will come
to understand how images of the martyred President changed over time
to reflect the nation’s outlook. Cost of the workshop is $15 or $10
for Friends of the Museums. Advance registration is required.
