The Sound of Nothing
The Empty Set performs music of the void

What does nothing sound like?

On Friday, April 29 from 7 to 9 pm, enjoy a free concert of nothingness called The Empty Set. A troop of local and visiting musicians join aritst-in-residence Conrad Freiburg for musical interpretation of nothingness and the Void. Live performances will be given by musicians Jason Ajemian, Bill Mackay, Mississippi Gabe Carter, Steve Lacy, Andy Hall, Frank Van Duerm, and others. Stop by and bring your friends! A small suggested donation will be taken at the door.

To prep you for the event, we recommend you take a listen to this; a live recording of Simon and Garfunkel's "Sound of Silence". Enjoy!

A: Oh, man! That;s hard to say. There's not one! Robert Irwin, Willem De Kooning...

Q: Cubs or Sox?
A: Sox.

Q: What's the last exhibition you saw?
A: The Magic Bone at Rodin.

Q: What was your favorite grade in school?
A: 2nd grade.

Q: Are you good or bad at sports?
A: Bad. I never understood... why chase the ball? I was more interested in the bugs. (Conrad neglected to mention that he's nearly a pro at Aikido martial arts. He claims he's only a student)
