58th Annual Garden Tour  

Saturday & Sunday, 30 April & 1 May  

10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. (Sat.) & 1:00-4:00 p.m. (Sun.)  

Various locations
Tickets: $15 in advance for Mint members, $20 for non-members. At the door: $20 for members, $25 for non-members.

This annual fundraiser hosted by the Charlotte Garden Club offers tours of six beautiful
gardens, including the gardens of Dean and Judy Johnson; Dr. Neal and Kelly Taub; Ms.
Mary Lou Lindsey; Neal and Katherine Forney; Bob and Dru Quarles; and the Elizabeth
Lawrence Garden. A celebratory party concludes the tour on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. at the Mint Museum Randolph.

discussion of Crónica de una muerte anunciada/Chronicle of a Death Foretold by
Gabriel García Márquez, led by Erin DeBell, Spanish Instructor at Queens University.

Lecture: Ansel Adams - An Intimate Glimpse

Andrea Gray Stillman, who worked as an assistant to legendary photographer Ansel Adams and who is one of the finest scholars of his work, will present a special public lecture at the Mint. She has curated exhibitions of Adams' work, organized his extensive archives, and accompanied him around the world. This special program celebrates the 25th anniversary of a gift of 25 Ansel Adams photographs by Mr. and Mrs. Peter Scotese to The Mint Museum. Stop by the Museum Shop afterwards to browse our selection of Ansel Adams-related merchandise.

by renowned designers such as Chanel, Versace, Balenciaga, and Givenchy, The Art of
Affluence presents the evolution of haute couture and custom designs from the last 60 years. From early Dior fashions to later designs by Versace, such as this custom ensemble from singer Elton John's personal collection, the exhibition showcases a myriad of styles and tastes.
